Northern Nikawa has a single purpose; to offer the finest tools and materials from throughout the world; those that are difficult to obtain in North America, to the professional luthier, woodworker, art restorer and artisan.

Our founder is now in his third decade as a professional luthier, and had worked for a number of years as a fine tool maker. Like many of his colleagues; he has spent much of his time searching for the perfect tool or attempting to make it if it could not be found.  This passion brought about the idea of Northern Nikawa.

We source from Europe and Asia and are proud of the items we have selected.  We can only hope they help aid you in your own creative pursuits.
